Earring holder

I've spent 3 days on the Paris post (ok, more like 3 twenty-minute segments of peace and quiet) and it's still not ready. Somehow 14 hours in Paris takes a week to blog about. So, I thought I would share the earring holder I just made.

I shared a month or so ago how I was being more crafty. Ha. Or "girly" as I like to call it.

First I spray painted an old 8 x 10 frame I had in the house. This color is called "granite."
Then, using a box cutter, I cut a piece of screen from a window that is now out of commission. (Long story).
Then, I hot glued the screen into the back of the frame. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of that step. If it helps, picture me putting in the screen, and then yelling because I'm burning my finger. Ha.

And, while other bloggers attached a ribbon or decoration to theirs, I was told that was too "girly" by my husband and so this is the finished product:
I really like it!! It's so much better than the Ziploc baggie I was using. Haha. And now I can see my "inventory."

I'm still looking forward to reading about your time in Paris, though. :)
