Jackson's almost 1 (and I'm boo hooing about it)

I know I give a lot of facebook updates on little Jackson and his personality. I can't believe he'll be 1 on Feb 1st. Where did the time go?!?! While this year has had some up and downs, becoming a house of three has definitely been the hardest, but most rewarding thing we've ever done. It has brought Brian and I closer together and made us work as a team at all times. It has also brought out our personalities (haha), Brian the laid-back worker and me, the control-freak perfectionist. I know everyone says you'll fall so in love with your kids, and I always thought that was a little corny, but it's true. Being a parent makes you understand a lot of the things your parents did. (Laughing). Somehow I've turned into a mad combination of my mother and father through all of this.
