Jackson- 18 months

I can't believe our little man is a year and a half!!
 Seriously, where does time go???

We're excited to announce that our son finally hit 20 pounds!!  Way to go, Stinker!  :)

His favorite foods right now are:  bananas, all vegetables, sweet potatoes, graham crackers, ice cream, and anything chocolate.  Hmmm, I wonder who he spends all day with.  He's not a big fan of meat or fruit (other than bananas).  I think it's a texture thing because he likes applesauce but refuses to eat a little slice of apple.

He is still obsessed with anything KITTY. Jackson loves animals in general and we (as in mommy and Jackson) chase every bunny and squirrel in the back yard.  He also loves the neighbor's dogs:  Marge's dachshund "Bailey" and Jane's Bernese Mountain dog "Phoebe."  He goes running any time he sees one or the other.

Jackson's language is expanding but 90% of the time he's carrying on a conversation with himself at 100 mph and we don't understand much of it.  He's started asking, "what's that?"

He loves to push anything.  His stroller, his "mower" or even the desk chair.  He also tries to pick up everything.  I call him my little "Ironman" because he loves to try to pick up Daddy's 20 pound weights.  He grunts and groans!

I tried to take 18 month photos and well, I felt like Steve Irwin trying to make a mad crocodile sit still. Not easy.  Here are a few of my bad shots.

Oh and did I mention that Jackson loves the drums??  I could hire this electric drumset as a babysitter.  (Not that I would, errr, try that)  :)
He's such a happy child to be around....and ornery as ever!

Love you Stinkerbutt!

(Brian started this nickname and it's even been shortened to "stink" by me.  Although I still think it's better than my dad's nicknames for me:  Lizardbreath or Turd.  Obviously I get this "horrible nicknaming trait" honestly).
