Coupon Mania

I have been reading many blogs on how to get products for little/no cost using coupons. This was my first attempt using online coupons. I love checking ads and matching them with a coupon, however, because I am of the Dave Ramsey type (more to come on this in a later blog) I tend to 1. Only buy products we use everyday and 2. Stick to my main store, Kroger (for convenience really).

Today I went to Family Dollar and Dollar General and here is what I purchased.

All of this was $1.97 including tax. Not bad considering each one of these items costs around $2. I recommend checking out "Money Saving Mom" on facebook. She is awesome. My next venture is to conquer the freebies available at CVS by using their EBCs.

More to come,
Leah

  1. ECBs are dangerous! It's so addictive, bringing home piles of free stuff. I mean, you could get a year's worth of TP, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and all those things with ECB deals, but we don't have much room to store it, so now I tend to just go to my grocery store and buy as needed. With just the two of us, we don't go through much, anyways.
